I am currently Assistant Professor at the department of Informatics at the University of Québec in Montréal. Previously, I was also assistant professor at the University of Rennes within the INRIA's Triskell project-team after doing a postdoctoral fellowship in the same team. I did my Ph.D. thesis, from May 2005 to August 2008, in the Ptidej Team in the GEODES laboratory (University of Montreal, Canada) under the supervision of Yann-Gaël Guéhéneuc and in the INRIA Futurs - ADAM Team in the LIFL laboratory (Université des Sciences et Technologies de Lille, France) under the supervision of Laurence Duchien and Anne-Françoise Le Meur.

The primary focus of my Ph.D. thesis was to define an approach that allows the automatic detection and correction of design defects, which are poor design choices, in object-oriented programs.
